Tanger Outlet Mall

What it is:  I have wanted to check out this new outlet mall ever since it opened recently.  However, since it's located in Mebane which is a bit of a distance away we hadn't made it out yet.  My older son has preschool some mornings from 9-12, so we decided to see if we could make it out for a little shopping during that break.  Turns out that it is in fact close enough to head out, get some good shopping done with a friend and our littlest ones, and get home in time for pick up of the older siblings.  Yay!

Tanger Outlet Mall in Mebane is located about half an hour away from the intersection of 15-501 and I-40 off of I-40.  It is home to over 70 stores that sell their name brand goods at a discounted price, especially clothing.  On this trip, our mission was to find PJ's for our kids.  Fortunately, the mall has several great stores to get discounted kids clothes including Carters, Osh Kosh, and Gymboree.
